3 Sept 2006 Update: As you may know, many people have now concluded that mercury amalgam fillings are extremely toxic.
However, it is not so widely known that the popular alternative - the "white" composite fillings MAY BE EQUALLY TOXIC !!!!!
Here are some ideas for you to think about & research for yourself, and to help you discuss your options with health care professionals involved in your care:
- the plastics in the white composite fillings in your teeth have bisphenals (sp?) which has estrogen in it , may be very damaging to the health!
- the resins, glues and other substances used with the white fillings may also be harmful
- gold may be a much better choice for a stable, more nonreactive substance
- amalgam and gold together in the mouth may create problems because it mixes acids and alkalines
- Porcelain is too hard; it wears the teeth down. Porcelain used for teeth is really low-fusing glass.
- Gold is softer than teeth so eventually gold fillings will wear out instead of the teeth, which is much preferable
than teeth being worn out by porcelain
- Gold wears out in 20-30 years. Porcelain wears out teeth; gold wears down
but does not wear down teeth.
- mouths with white material (porcelain) have a negative charge;
mouths should have a positive charge
- muscle testing can switch 15 times - i.e. is very unreliable
- nightguards intrude on teeth
- chelation therapy may be unnecessary; best chelation for the body may be apple cider vinegar and water; it neutralizes the body; it chelates plaque out of the body
- lasers may be dangerous in the mouth
- eyeglasses should not have metal frames
- If you're wearing jewelry, it should have the same gold % as in the mouth
